Edition 2025 — Deman & Passat Deman
The 5th edition of the Deman & Passat Deman Festival was held on May 30 and 31, 2025, in Polminhac. Two days of world contemporary music with artists from Brazil, Angola, Cape Verde, Italy, and Occitan lands, accompanied by workshops, exhibitions, and meetings.
Deman & Passat Deman Festival 2025: 5th Edition
The 5th edition of the Deman & Passat Deman Festival brought together lovers of world music on May 30 and 31, 2025, in Polminhac. The program featured artists from all over the world: Lavinia Mancusi (Italy), Lucia de Carvalho (Angola/Portugal), Elida Almeida (Cape Verde), the Trio Guillaume Lopez, and CXK.
Beyond the concerts, festival-goers enjoyed participatory workshops in dance and music, exhibitions on Auvergne's traditional clothing heritage and Colombian textiles, a charitable second-hand shop, and a bookstore dedicated to Occitan discoveries.
