Edition 2025 — Des Flammes à la Lumière
The 29th edition of the Des Flammes à la Lumière show was held from June 20 to July 26, 2025, at the Haudainville quarries in Verdun. Twelve performances spread over six weekends allowed thousands of spectators to relive the history of the Great War through 60 scenes performed by nearly 300 volunteer actors, in a show combining projections, pyrotechnic effects, and historical reenactments.

Des Flammes à la Lumière — 2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of Des Flammes à la Lumière offered 12 performances from June 20 to July 26, on Friday and Saturday evenings at the Haudainville quarries. This 29th edition once again brought together spectators from all over France and Europe to experience a total immersion in the history of the Battle of Verdun and the Great War.
The 60 scenes of the show retraced the intertwined destinies of soldiers and civilians, from the Belle Époque to the Armistice, brought to life by nearly 300 volunteer actors in period costumes, accompanied by spectacular pyrotechnic effects, projections of archival footage, and an immersive soundtrack.
