Tomato Fair 2025
On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, Douadic hosted its traditional Tomato Fair, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Gardening enthusiasts came in large numbers to find the best tomato plants: Cherry, Marmande, Beefsteak, and dozens of other old and modern varieties.
In addition to tomato and vegetable plants, visitors could discover a large market with local Brenne products, gardening equipment, clothing, and various items. The raffle enlivened the day, and the meal at the Relais de la Brenne allowed for continued conviviality.
