First Edition: Birth of an Electro Festival in the Mountains

On July 15, 2023, the Parc de la Sapinière in Barcelonnette vibrated to the rhythm of the first edition of Électro Live Barcelonnette. From 4 PM to midnight, five artists took turns on stage to offer more than eight hours of open-air electronic music, in the enchanting setting of the Ubaye valley.

Quasi Qui opened the ball at 4 PM with influences drawn from British synthpop and American popular music. Macadam Crocodile took over at 5:30 PM, followed by Bomel at 7:15 PM. Nathalie Duchene electrified the stage at 9 PM before the masterful closing set by Feder at 10:30 PM. Feder, a pillar of French electro revealed in 2015 by his hit "Goodbye" which dominated the iTunes charts, delivered a memorable set to conclude this inaugural evening.

This cultural and intergenerational event, organized by Ubaye Tourisme, marked a turning point in Barcelonnette's summer programming, bringing a resolutely electronic and contemporary flavor to the Parc de la Sapinière.
