2025 edition of the Estival des Hallebardiers on the theme "The Future!". Three walking performances performed simultaneously each evening in the fortified city of Langres, transporting spectators to 2284 in a post-apocalyptic world.

2025 Edition: "The Future!"
The 2025 edition of the Estival des Hallebardiers plunged spectators into a post-apocalyptic future in 2284, after destructive climate events and a massive nuclear accident. Three surviving castes fought over the meager resources of a devastated world.
The three shows
- The Manciennes: a matriarchal society honoring Jeanne Mance, an illustrious figure from Langres, whose members have a third eye in the middle of their forehead offering vision and clairvoyance.
- The Cryo-cortexés: three scientists watch over cryogenized individuals stored in Texan vats. After violent climate-related tremors, the frozen capsules end up in Langres, and one day the cryogenized individuals wake up in a hostile world.
- The Cyborgs: a third caste fighting for survival in this devastated world.
The performances took place on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays evenings from July 31 to August 23, 2025, with departure at 9 PM from the courtyard of Collège Diderot. This edition attracted 5,200 spectators.
