Anima(ex)Musica - 2025 Season
The 2025 exhibition at the contemporary art center of the Abbaye d'Auberive highlighted the collective Tout reste à faire with its installation Anima(ex)Musica. On the first floor, Mathieu Desailly, Vincent Gadras, and David Chalmin presented a utopian bestiary composed of animated and sonic creatures, mainly inspired by arthropods, made from discarded musical instruments.
On the ground floor, a selection from the Volot Collection featured works by Barbara d'Antuono, Nicole Bayle, Pierre Bettencourt, Myriam Mihindou, Jean-Luc Navette, Paul Rebeyrolle, Raphaëlle Ricol, and Jean Rustin.
The exhibition was produced in partnership with the Parc national de forêts, the Grand Est Region, and the Department of Haute-Marne.
