Edition 2026 — Medieval Bressieux
The Great Medieval Festival and Market of Bressieux returns on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19, 2026, in the bailey and around the Bressieux castle (Isère). On the program: a medieval market with about thirty artisans, armored knight fights, the wandering of Dragon Gonraad and his Dragon Riders, falconry shows, concerts, and numerous activities for the whole family.
2026 Edition — July 18 and 19
For 2026, the Great Medieval Festival and Market of Bressieux once again takes over the castle and its vast bailey on Saturday, July 18 (10 AM to midnight) and Sunday, July 19 (10 AM to 6 PM). About thirty artisans present their know-how along the medieval market, while troupes, musicians, and companies revive the atmosphere of the Middle Ages throughout the weekend. The event is maintained even in case of bad weather.
The wandering of the famous Dragon Gonraad and his Dragon Riders (Gameorbis company) surprises the public throughout the day, accompanied by the troupes and fantastic creatures that animate the site.

Medieval market — about thirty artisans present their know-how (forge, medieval crafts, stalls).
Shows and wanderings
- Dragon Gonraad and his Dragon Riders (Gameorbis) — spectacular wandering throughout the day.
- SAS Les Aigles de Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon — falconry and raptor show (Sunday only).
- Jérémy de La Hire — medieval sword and shield combat, in 14th-15th century armor.
- Les Bâtards d'Occitanie — arena fights, axe throwing, and children's activities.
- La Mesnie du Goupil — heraldry workshops and introduction to ironwork.
- Climatoseptix Patrice — humorous show.
- Maistre Nicodème — storyteller.
- Camps and troupes: Les Gueux du Dauphin, Les Sombreterres.
Concerts (Saturday evening)
- Bric à Drac — folk with traditional instruments.
- Ydhessä — Celtic and folk music.
Family activities
- Candy catapult (daytime launches).
- Entre Chien et Jeu — wooden games for children.
- Visit of the keep with panoramic views of the Alps.
