Edition 2024 — Fest'Images
9th edition of the festival on the theme "Ephemerality". Guest of honor photographer: Jean-Fabien Leclanche for his series "Chronique de Montreuil", accompanied by Salah Bouanani and Pierre Lasvesnes. Photographic trails on tarpaulins in Bégoux and Wilson street, exhibitions in partner shops and at the Le Grand Palais cinema.
Ephemerality: celebrating the fleeting moment
The 9th edition of Fest'Images - Territoire du Monde was held from September 27 to October 31, 2024, around the theme "Ephemerality", exploring the beauty of the ephemeral and the fleeting nature of time through the photographic lens.
Three guest photographers of honor
The festival honored three photographers: Jean-Fabien Leclanche for his documentary series Chronique de Montreuil, as well as Salah Bouanani and Pierre Lasvesnes. Their works were exhibited at the Bégoux village hall and in the community garden.
Trails and activities
The outdoor trails on large tarpaulins were freely accessible on the fences of Gambetta college and in Bégoux. The opening weekend featured the screening of the film The Old Oak at Le Grand Palais cinema, a conference by historian Michel Auvray on Lot citizens of the world, instant portrait sessions, and a sale of vintage photo equipment.
