Ephemerality: celebrating the fleeting moment
The 9th edition of Fest'Images - Territoire du Monde was held from September 27 to October 31, 2024, around the theme "Ephemerality", exploring the beauty of the ephemeral and the fleeting nature of time through the photographic lens.
Three guest photographers of honor
The festival honored three photographers: Jean-Fabien Leclanche for his documentary series Chronique de Montreuil, as well as Salah Bouanani and Pierre Lasvesnes. Their works were exhibited at the Bégoux village hall and in the community garden.
Trails and activities
The outdoor trails on large tarpaulins were freely accessible on the fences of Gambetta college and in Bégoux. The opening weekend featured the screening of the film The Old Oak at Le Grand Palais cinema, a conference by historian Michel Auvray on Lot citizens of the world, instant portrait sessions, and a sale of vintage photo equipment.
