Adour Afición Festival 2025 - 20 years of the bullfighting school
The Adour Afición Festival 2025 celebrated the 20th anniversary of the bullfighting school founded by maestro Richard Milian. Initially scheduled for October 19th as part of the 41st Taurine Week of Saint-Sever, the event was postponed to November 11, 2025.
Five former students who became matadors returned to Saint-Sever for this tribute: Antonio Joao Ferreira, Thomas Dufau, Mathieu Guillon, Dorian Canton, and Yon Lamothe. Young Ekaitz Moreno Leal, representing the new generation of the school, also participated in the festival. They faced novillos from the Camino de Santiago and Alain Bonijol breeding farms.
The day began with a free tienta at the Cloître des Jacobins, followed by the Afición meal and the taurine festival in the Arènes Henri Capdeville.
