18th edition: reliving Roman Antiquity

The 18th edition of the Arelate Festival took place from August 19 to 24, 2024, in the ancient monuments of Arles. Gladiators, legionaries, artisans, and patricians took over the arenas, the Ancient Theatre, the Museum of Ancient Arles, and the Verrerie gardens for a week of historical reenactment and ancient celebrations.

Gladiator fights in the arenas, legionary parades in the city streets, ancient craft workshops, and conferences allowed the public to dive into the heart of daily life in Roman Antiquity.
