Edition 2025 — Atmosphères
The 15th edition of the Festival Atmosphères took place from October 8 to 12, 2025, in Courbevoie and online. Themed around "Intelligence(s)", this anniversary edition presented 22 films, numerous conferences and debates, a special evening on glaciers with glaciologist Heïdi Sevestre, and welcomed around 20,000 spectators and 3,000 schoolchildren. 15th Edition — October 8 to 12, 2025
The 15th edition of the Festival Atmosphères, an anniversary edition, took place in Courbevoie from October 8 to 12, 2025, under the theme of reflection on "Intelligence(s)" — the theme of the 2025 Science Festival.
The Theme: Intelligence(s)
The festival explored the multiple forms of intelligence: human rational and intuitive intelligence, collective intelligence, the intelligence of life, and artificial intelligence — its uses, developments, and growing social and environmental impact. A burning issue of the day addressed through the artistic and scientific tools that are the festival's strength.
Program
22 films were presented during this edition, including several world or French premieres, followed by debates with the film crews and experts. 10 meetings (round tables, conferences, science cafés), an action forum, workshops, exhibitions, performances, and concerts completed the program.
Special Glacier Evening
The International Year of Glacier Preservation was honored during a special evening "Saturday Night on Earth: Glaciers", in the presence of glaciologist Heïdi Sevestre and other scientific and artistic guests.
Outcome
Approximately 20,000 spectators and 3,000 schoolchildren participated in this edition, confirming the festival's role as a public space for scientific culture and citizen engagement.
