2025 Edition — 8th Festival d'Aquarelle de Wassy
The 8th edition of the Festival d'Aquarelle de Wassy took place from June 7 to 15, 2025, in several emblematic locations of the commune. True to its triennial tradition, the festival hosted about fifty watercolor artists from France and Europe to exhibit their works, lead practical workshops, and perform live demonstrations for the public.
Highlights
Visitors could discover over a hundred original works displayed between the Halle, the Théâtre de la Forgerie, and other exhibition spaces throughout Wassy. Conferences on the history of watercolor and contemporary techniques enriched the cultural program. The workshops, supervised by about twenty professional artists, allowed participants to learn or improve their skills in different approaches to watercolor: landscape, travel sketchbook, portrait, and abstraction.
