28th edition — The musical journey continues
The 28th edition of the Festival de Chaillol took place from July 19 to August 11, 2024, offering nearly a month of traveling concerts through the valleys of the Hautes-Alpes. True to its mission, the festival took over churches, chapels, communal halls, and natural spaces in Champsaur-Valgaudemar, Buëch-Dévoluy, and Serre-Ponçon – Val d'Avance.
The program combined chamber music, jazz, world music, and contemporary creation, with a daily concert in a different commune. Week-long artist residencies allowed musicians to meet the inhabitants and share their practice beyond the concert time, through workshops and informal exchange moments.
