Edition 2022 — Gramat Sphère

1st Edition: Birth of Gramat Sphère
The first edition of the Gramat Sphère Cinema Festival was held from May 19 to 22, 2022, marking the launch of a new cinematic event in the Lot. Organized by the municipality of Gramat, the festival was a continuation of a successful thematic event about animals in 2021.
Gastronomy as the Common Thread
The theme chosen for this first edition was gastronomy in cinema. The program included:
- Soylent Green by Richard Fleischer (inaugural screening on Thursday, May 19 at 6 PM)
- Ao, the Last Neanderthal
- The Inheritance
- Marona's Fantastic Tale
Guest of Honor
Pascal Rabaté, filmmaker and comic book author, was the guest of honor for this first edition, with a signing session organized at the municipal library.
Activities
The festival offered a photographic exhibition, a market for vintage audiovisual and digital equipment, tastings related to the gastronomic theme, and numerous activities throughout the weekend. About twenty volunteers contributed to the organization.
