Street theater and heritage celebration
The 2025 edition of the Festival de la Joye offered a rich program of street performances in the historic heart of Joyeuse. Theater troupes took over the squares, alleys, and courtyards of the village to present shows blending historical narratives and contemporary creations. The grand costumed parade brought together about a hundred extras in period costumes, parading through the village streets to the sound of ancient music.
