69th Edition — Festival de la Terre in Sonchamp 2024
The 69th edition of the Festival de la Terre was held for the first time on land between Sonchamp and Orcemont, in the Yvelines, on September 14 and 15, 2024. Sonchamp, the leading agricultural town in the department, provided an ideal setting for this major popular festival organized by the Young Farmers of Île-de-France Ouest.
Approximately 5,000 visitors enjoyed a rich program: educational farm, sheepdog demonstrations, stands of local producers (bakers, snail farmers, artisans, butchers), motocross, mechanical bull, archery, pony rides, inflatable games, and helicopter rides.
The Department of Yvelines, a partner of the event, took the opportunity to present its policy on short supply chains and local sourcing for school canteens.
