Edition 2025 — Festival of Lights
The 2025 edition of the Festival of Lights took place from December 5th to 8th, illuminating the streets and monuments of Lyon for four evenings. This edition made history with the first drone light show ever integrated into the event.
2025 Edition — A Historic Festival
The 2025 Festival of Lights took place from December 5th to 8th, with illumination hours from 7 PM to 11 PM (6 PM to 10 PM on Sunday, December 7th). The installations took over the iconic locations of Lyon: Saint-Jean Cathedral, Place des Terreaux, Place Louis Pradel, Place d'Albon, quays of the Saône, and Saint-Paul station.
The 2025 edition marked a historic turning point with the integration of the first drone light show, adding an unprecedented aerial dimension to the traditional mappings and ground installations. Over 2 million visitors walked the streets of Lyon during these four magical evenings.
