The 2026 Festival of Lights will take place around December 8th in Lyon. The call for artistic projects was launched in February 2026, promising new spectacular light installations in the city streets.

The Festival of Lights returns in December 2026 for four new evenings of illuminations. The call for artistic projects, launched on February 27th, 2026, demonstrates the active preparation for this edition.
New artists and creators from around the world will propose innovative installations to transform Lyon into an open-air luminous museum. The program will be unveiled in Autumn 2026 on the official Festival of Lights website.
