Edition 2025 — Traditions Saint-Pierre-de-Trivisy
The Festival of Traditions and Old Crafts 2025 was held on August 15th in Saint-Pierre-de-Trivisy. Blacksmiths, basket makers, wool spinners, clog makers, and other artisans of yesteryear animated the streets of the Montagne Noire village with their demonstrations of ancestral know-how. A day of living memory, family-friendly and entirely free, in the heart of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park.

Festival of Traditions and Old Crafts 2025 — August 15th in Saint-Pierre-de-Trivisy
On August 15th, 2025, the village of Saint-Pierre-de-Trivisy vibrated to the rhythm of the Traditions and Old Crafts. The alleys and squares of the village came alive with the age-old gestures of blacksmiths, basket makers, clog makers, wool spinners, and other artisans of yesteryear, making this day a true journey back in time.
Passionate demonstrators attracted the curious and families around their improvised outdoor workshops. Children, particularly captivated, were able to closely observe the forge fire, feel the spun wool, and try weaving willow. Elders rediscovered with emotion the gestures and scents of their rural youth in this Tarn Noir of the Montagne Noire.
The day continued in a friendly and festive atmosphere, with local catering on site and traditional musical entertainment. An authentic and free village festival, true to the popular spirit of Haut-Languedoc celebrations.
