The heart of the event is the demonstration of ancient trades. Passionate artisans and dedicated volunteers set up in the village to bring back to life practices that have disappeared from daily life but remain in collective memory:

• The blacksmith: anvil, bellows, and incandescent metal, the farrier or blacksmith recreates the atmosphere of the old forge, shaping tools and ironwork before the fascinated eyes of the public.
• The cooper: hooping and assembly of wooden staves, an age-old technique inseparable from viticulture and food preservation.
• The basket maker: weaving willow and chestnut to make baskets, hampers, and panniers, essential items of peasant life.
