Harvest celebration in the heart of the city

Each year, at the end of September, Lezignan-Corbieres celebrates the end of the harvest by setting up a large market of local winemakers and producers on Place Cabrie. The Fete des Vendanges is a moment of sharing and conviviality that celebrates the work of the vine and the quality of the wines of the AOC Corbieres appellation. More than forty winemakers from the region offer their vintages for tasting and sale, accompanied by producers of honey, cheeses, cured meats, and other local specialties from the Aude region.

Tastings and wine initiation

At the heart of the festival, a wine tasting initiation area allows visitors to discover the specificities of Corbieres wines: powerful and full-bodied reds, fresh and fruity rosés, aromatic whites. The Confrerie des Corbieres, guardian of the local wine tradition, leads this area with passion and pedagogy. A Vinimathon area offers a fun moment where everyone can get photographed and leave with a souvenir of the evening.

Gastronomy and on-site dining

The Fete des Vendanges is not just a wine event: it is also a gourmet festival. Numerous food stalls offer local and Mediterranean specialties: seafood platters, artisanal burgers, assorted charcuterie, grills, and regional dishes. Visitors can sit at tables set up on the square and enjoy an outdoor meal, a glass of Corbieres in hand, in the warm atmosphere of the evening.

Musical entertainment and festive atmosphere

Musical entertainment accompanies the evening from 6 PM to 11:30 PM, with local bands and musicians who liven up Place Cabrie to the rhythm of Occitan music, gypsy jazz, or variety music. This popular, free, and open-to-all festival is a privileged moment to discover the wine identity of Lezignan-Corbieres, the capital of Corbieres, and to share a moment of conviviality between residents and visitors.
