About Outilautrec

Access
Lautrec is located in the Tarn department, between Albi and Castres.
- By car: Approximately 50 minutes from Toulouse via the A68 Toulouse-Albi motorway, exit 7. A motorhome parking area is available at the Aquaval car park on Route de Vielmur.
- By train: The nearest SNCF train station is 15 km away, on the Castres-Toulouse line.
- By bus: Connections between Castres and Lautrec depart from the Castres bus station in the morning and evening.
- By plane: Castres-Mazamet airport is 18 km away, and Toulouse-Blagnac airport is 75 km away.
Opening hours
The 2026 schedule has not yet been published. In 2025, the fair was open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The clog maker's workshop on Rue du Saint-Esprit is open continuously from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM during Lautrec festival days, including Outilautrec.

Lautrec, a medieval village in the Tarn
Lautrec is officially ranked as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Perched on a hill between Albi and Castres, the village has preserved its historic windmill and the Saint-Rémy collegiate church. The region is famous for being the primary producer of pink garlic in France, which holds both IGP and Label Rouge certifications, and an open-air market is held every Friday morning in the central square.
