Edition 2025 — Entrecasteaux Festival
The 43rd edition of the Entrecasteaux Chamber Music Festival took place from August 16 to 22, 2025. A week of concerts in the villages of Haut-Var, combining the great classical repertoire—Beethoven, Schubert, Ravel, Fauré—and contemporary works, in the exceptional heritage sites of Provence Verte.

43rd Edition — August 16 to 22, 2025
The 43rd edition of the Entrecasteaux Chamber Music Festival celebrated over four decades of musical excellence in Haut-Var. For a week, international-level musicians took over the most beautiful heritage sites of Provence Verte for intimate and demanding concerts.
Concert Venues
True to its touring mission, the 2025 edition featured concerts in several communes:
- Château d'Entrecasteaux: inner courtyard for gala evenings
- Romanesque Church of Cotignac: evening concerts with exceptional acoustics
- Village Square of Correns: open-air concert at sunset
- Barjols: concert in one of the most beautiful Provençal villages in the Var
Musical Program
The program focused on the diversity of the chamber repertoire, with works for string quartet, piano trio, and chamber ensemble. Contemporary works were premiered or performed alongside masterpieces by Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Debussy, and Ravel. The invited musicians, from major French and European ensembles, delivered top-tier performances.
