Villeneuve-le-Roi is a town in Val-de-Marne with approximately 20,000 inhabitants, bordered by the Seine and possessing a strong local identity. Its Autumn Festival, whose 2025 edition marked the 61st edition, is the most emblematic and anticipated festive event in the local calendar. For over sixty years, these festivals have brought together the residents of Villeneuve-le-Roi every late September in a celebration of associative life, local craftsmanship, and popular gastronomy.

A Weekend of Festivities on Rue du Général de Gaulle

The Autumn Festival takes place on the Saturday and Sunday of late September, from 10 am to 6 pm, at 86 rue du Général de Gaulle. This main street of the town transforms for two days into a festive space filled with stands, activities, and stages that create a carnival and popular market atmosphere.

Saturday morning opens with associative exhibitors and professionals. The associations of Villeneuve-le-Roi are at the forefront: sports clubs, cultural associations, neighborhood groups, and social structures present their activities to the public and recruit new members for the season.
