18th Festival des Bandas en Basse Ariège
The 18th edition of the Festival des Bandas en Basse Ariège took place on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 7 PM to 2 AM, in the streets of Mazères. 7 bandas and 250 musicians made the medieval bastide vibrate in a popular festival atmosphere, with refreshment stands, bodegas, and food available on site. The next day, Sunday, July 28, the traditional fanfare wake-up call took place at 10 AM, followed by the festival's awards ceremony at 1:30 PM.
