50th Nuits de Joux - Anniversary Edition 2025
The 50th edition of the Festival des Nuits de Joux, an exceptional anniversary edition, took place from July 25 to August 9, 2025 at the Château de Joux and in Pontarlier. To celebrate this half-century of theatrical and musical creation, the CAHD offered a particularly rich program.
Among the shows, "The Evils of Tobacco" by Anton Chekhov, directed by Sophie Kordylas, opened the festival on July 25. "The Green Bird", a play for all audiences, was performed from July 25 to 30 and then from August 2 to 4. The adaptation of Jules Verne's "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas" was presented on July 26 and 28, then on August 1, 3, 6, and 9.
