17th edition of the FFA
The 17th edition of the Festival du Film Francophone d'Angoulême took place from August 27 to September 1, 2024. The festival featured sixteen preview screenings, opening on August 27 with "Les Barbares" by Julie Delpy and closing on September 1 with "Sarah Bernhardt, La Divine" by Guillaume Nicloux. Ten films competed for the eight Valois awards presented at the closing ceremony. The festival highlighted Moroccan cinema with a selection of heritage films and new works.
