36th Edition — Kabylia Honored
The 36th edition of the Festival du Livre en Bretagne was held on October 25 and 26, 2025, at the Espace Glenmor in Carhaix-Plouguer. This edition honored Kabylia, a region of Algeria whose Berber culture resonates with Brittany's identity and linguistic struggles.
The festival hosted nearly 300 authors and a hundred publishers, offering book signings, conferences, round tables, youth activities, and literary prize ceremonies, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
