Edition 2023 — Festival du Vinaigre
Inaugural Edition: Birth of a Unique Festival
The first edition of the Festival du Vinaigre d'Orléans was held on June 11 and 12, 2023, at the Campo Santo, marking the birth of a gastronomic event unparalleled in France. Initiated by the association Les Amis du vinaigre d'Orléans and the Martin Pouret house, this inaugural edition brought together five highly renowned chefs around an ambitious project: to create signature vinegars aged for one year in 120-liter oak barrels.
Ambassador Chefs
- Christophe Hay — Fleur de Loire, Blois (two Michelin stars)
- Chloé Charles — Lago, Paris
- Jérôme Legras — Le Ritz, Paris
- Marc Lahoreau — Institut Paul Bocuse, Lyon
- Jacky Ribault — L'Ours, Vincennes (one Michelin star)
Each chef commissioned a custom vinegar, the twelve bottles of which will be sold at auction for the benefit of charitable organizations at the following edition. This first edition, which remained intentionally exclusive, laid the foundation for an annual event aimed at re-establishing Orléans on the French gastronomic map.
