3rd Edition — September 4 to 7, 2025
The third edition of the Festival Face à la Mer took place from September 4 to 7, 2025, on the Esplanade Sainte-Estelle in Cavalaire-sur-Mer. Four consecutive evenings of open-air concerts offered a program blending jazz, blues, and world music, entirely free and open to all.
The end of the Var summer provides an ideal setting for this type of event: the days are still warm, the evenings pleasant, the sea remains inviting, and the light takes on those characteristic golden hues of September in the Mediterranean. The Esplanade Sainte-Estelle, facing the sparkling waters of Cavalaire Bay, is the perfect natural stage for jazz and blues concerts where improvisation dialogues with the movement of the waves.
The program for this 3rd edition featured artists representative of the three genres highlighted by the festival. Acoustic jazz ensembles shared the stage with electric blues bands and world music groups carrying African, Latin American, or Eastern musical traditions. This diversity of forms and origins contributed to creating a particularly warm atmosphere celebrating world music.
The growing attendance from one edition to the next testifies to the gradual establishment of the Festival Face à la Mer in the cultural life of Cavalaire-sur-Mer and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
