Handiversité Festival

13th Edition — April 15 to 27, 2024

The 13th edition of the Handiversité Festival took place from April 15 to 27, 2024, throughout the Estuaire et Sillon territory. For two weeks, media libraries, cinemas, leisure centers, and schools in the territory offered activities to raise awareness about disability and differences.

Highlight Event at the Malville Sports Complex

The highlight of this 13th edition was held on Saturday, April 20, at the Malville sports complex. This "Day for All" brought together young and old for a rich and free program:

• Awareness Escape Game about disability
• Wheelchair basketball — initiation and matches
• Blindfolded obstacle course to experience visual impairment
• Presentation of guide dogs for the blind
• Sensory workshops and simulation activities
• Cultural activities and shows

The program also included initiatives led by the collective's partners, notably Cap'Lan, which set up the Bikelabyrinth in the media libraries, a knitting art project in partnership with a nursing home, Olympics, and a solidarity cross-country run. The six leisure centers in the territory gathered for inter-center activities, including a show "Tout en bazar" for 4-5 year olds.
