Edition 2025 — Chirens Chamber Music
The 61st edition of the Chirens International Chamber Music Festival took place from July to September 2025, with an exceptional program featuring the Trio Wanderer, the Talich Quartet, the Berlin Philharmonic Quintet, Emmanuelle Bertrand and Pascal Amoyel, as well as many other internationally renowned ensembles at the Prieuré Notre-Dame-du-Gayet.
61st Edition — Summer 2025
For its 61st edition, the Chirens International Chamber Music Festival offered a rich and varied season in the heart of the Prieuré Notre-Dame-du-Gayet, confirming its place among the essential chamber music events in France. From July to September 2025, the greatest performers took to the stage in the Romanesque setting of this 11th-century church with exceptional acoustics.
Opening with Emmanuelle Bertrand and Pascal Amoyel
The festival opened its doors on Saturday, July 13 with an exceptional duo: cellist Emmanuelle Bertrand and pianist Pascal Amoyel, two of the most acclaimed artists on the French scene, for a program combining romantic and contemporary repertoire.

The program featured world-renowned chamber ensembles:
- Saturday, July 19: François Salque (cello) and Claire-Marie Le Guay (piano)
- Saturday, July 20: the Trio Wanderer, one of the most famous piano trios in the world
- Saturday, July 26: the Aréte Quartet
- Saturday, July 27: the Talich Quartet, a legendary ensemble in the Czech chamber music tradition
- Sunday, August 3: Elsa Grether and the Drobinsky Trio
- Sunday, August 4: the Élysée Quartet with Otar Melikishvili and Mark Drobinsky
- Wednesday, August 7: the Pantoum Trio
- Friday, August 8: the Zemlinsky Quartet
- Friday, August 9: the Berlin Philharmonic Quintet, an exceptional highlight of the season
Closing Concert — Wassily Quartet
The festival closed its doors on Saturday, September 20 with the Wassily Quartet, extending the musical season into the first colors of autumn in the enchanting setting of the priory.
