25 years of film music celebrated in Marseille
The 25th edition of the Festival International Music & Cinema took place from April 1st to 6th, 2024 at the Artplexe Canebière cinema in Marseille. This anniversary edition marked a quarter-century of celebrating film music, with an exceptional program combining competitions, cine-concerts, and professional meetings.
The festival featured 6 cine-concerts and hosted distinguished guests, including composer Lolita Ritmanis, conductor Amy Andersson, and pianist-composer Jean-Michel Bernard. The Master Class in Musical Composition for Film, led by composer Pablo Pico, took place from March 27th to April 6th, 2024. The short and feature film competitions presented films from around the world, confirming the festival as an essential crossroads for cinematic and musical creation.
