Jazz Verdon 2025 – 15th Edition, a Celebration in Music

The 15th edition of the Festival Jazz Verdon marked a significant symbolic milestone: a quarter of a century and a half of musical adventure in the villages of Haut-Var. For this anniversary, the festival pulled out all the stops, offering an even more ambitious program with over twenty free concerts spread across about ten towns in the Aups area.

From morning to night, from traditional jazz to electric blues, including gypsy swing and contemporary fusions, invited musicians took over the squares, courtyards, and alleys of the host villages. Aups, as the festival's pivotal commune, hosted the most significant ensembles in a memorable festive setting. The satellite villages contributed to the atmosphere of a musical pilgrimage, encouraging festival-goers to explore the region by following the touring program.

The free admission to concerts allowed massive participation from the local population and passing vacationers, confirming that Jazz Verdon meets a deep need for accessible culture in rural areas. Evenings extended into the villages' bistros and restaurants, where musicians often continued their sets in an even more intimate atmosphere.
