27th Edition: 14 Concerts from Laonnois to Soissonnais
For its 27th edition, the Jazz'titudes festival offered 14 concerts from March 16 to May 25, 2024, spread across 8 towns between Laon and Soissons. The program embraced all currents of jazz and its related music: vocal jazz, swing, blues, gospel, pop, and rock.
The opening was entrusted to Quai de la Seine on March 16 in Chambry, launching a season rich in discoveries. Matt Bianco, an icon of British jazz-pop, electrified the Maison des Arts et Loisirs on March 20, followed by the D-Day Ladies on the 21st and Gabi Hartmann on March 22 for a memorable weekend. Baptiste Trotignon Trio delivered a virtuoso jazz concert on April 6, while Little Bob Blues Bastards rocked Sissonne on May 4 with their incandescent blues-rock.
Laon Cathedral hosted Joniece Jamison for a gospel concert on May 24, before the festive closing entrusted to Koko Jean and the Tonics on May 25. The festival also offered educational concerts in partnership with the Conservatoire du Pays de Laon.
