The 40th edition of the Festival Mondes Croisés took place from August 4 to 9, 2025, in Murat. True to its mission, the festival hosted a dozen international troupes of dancers and musicians, offering a week of shows, parades, and entertainment in the heart of the Cantal medieval town.

40th edition of the Festival Mondes Croisés
For its 40th edition, the Festival Mondes Croisés took over the streets and squares of Murat from August 4 to 9, 2025. A dozen professional troupes from several continents offered traditional dance and music performances at the Gymnase municipal, as well as parades in the medieval alleys and entertainment on the Place du Balat.
Approximately 17,000 spectators participated in this week of celebration of global cultural diversity, in the exceptional setting of the Murat town at the foot of the Rocher de Bonnevie.
