Edition 2025 — Musique aux Mirabelles

The 2025 season of Musique aux Mirabelles featured six concerts between July and September. Opening concert 'Tango' at Lac de Madine with Pascal Contet and the Orchestre National de Metz Grand Est, French melody recital 'Je Te Veux' in Fréméréville, a cappella vocal trio Les Itinérantes in Heudicourt, Schubert recital at the Collégiale Saint-Maur with a new work by Sophie Lacaze, carte blanche for international soloists in Nonsard, and closing concert 'Au-Delà de l'Horizon' with Marie-Christine Barrault.

2025 Season: Six Concerts Between Côtes de Meuse and Lac de Madine

The 2025 season of the Musique aux Mirabelles festival unfolded from July 5 to September 14, 2025, with six concerts in the Côtes de Meuse.

Concert 1 — 'Tango' (July 5)

Opening concert at Lac de Madine (Salle omnisport, Heudicourt-sous-les-Côtes side) at 5:30 PM. Virtuoso accordionist Pascal Contet and the Orchestre National de Metz Grand Est, conducted by Anton Holmer, presented a program blending Kodály (Galanta Dances), Massenet (Cid Ballet Suite), tangos by Bardi, Gardel, D'Arienzo, Arolas, and Piazzolla, with the participation of professional dancers and students from the Verdun conservatory.

Concert 2 — 'Je Te Veux' (July 19)

French melody recital at the church of Fréméréville-sous-les-Côtes at 8:00 PM. Julie Cherrier-Hoffmann (soprano), Frédéric Chaslin (piano), and Jean-Baptiste Haye (harp) performed works by Duparc, Massenet, Bachelet, Chausson, Fauré, Debussy, and Satie.

Concert 3 — Les Itinérantes (July 20)

A cappella vocal trio at the Saint-Germain church of Heudicourt-sous-les-Côtes at 5:00 PM. Manon Cousin, Pauline Langlois de Swarte, and Élodie Pont presented 'Terra Mater — Entre toutes les femmes' ('Mother Earth — Among All Women'), a program in over ten languages ranging from Hildegard von Bingen to contemporary creations.

Concert 4 — Schubert Recital (September 12)

Concert at the Collégiale Saint-Maur d'Hattonchâtel at 8:00 PM. Julie Cherrier-Hoffmann (soprano), Pascal Contet (accordion), Saskia Lethiec (violin), and David Louwerse (cello) performed Schubert lieder interspersed with the world premiere of the Trio sans Paroles by Sophie Lacaze.

Concert 5 — Carte Blanche for Soloists (September 13)

Concert at the Saint-Evre church of Nonsard-Lamarche at 8:00 PM. An eclectic program left to the discretion of Saskia Lethiec, David Louwerse, Julie Cherrier-Hoffmann, and Frédéric Chaslin.

Concert 6 — 'Au-Delà de l'Horizon' (September 14)

Closing concert at the Étangs du Longeau (Hannonville-sous-les-Côtes) at 4:30 PM. Marie-Christine Barrault (narrator) and Pascal Contet (accordion) offered an imaginary journey through colors of the distant, the invisible, and diffuse feelings.
