Festival of Plants and Flowers 2022 — First Edition

On May 7, 2022, the Maison du Terroir et d'Animations of Beaulieu-sur-Loire inaugurated the very first Festival of Plants and Flowers in the green setting of the Maison Marret park. For this founding edition, several activities were offered around nature, art, and heritage.

Highlights

• Plant and seedling swap: exchange of cuttings, seedlings, and seeds open to the public all day
• Presentation of the rose garden project of the Maison Marret park
• Conferences: talks on the cultivation of flowering plants and Rosa Centifolia
• Discovery outing: guided walk to discover the wild and edible plants of the surrounding area
• Stalls of local producers and associations

This first edition laid the groundwork for an event that is set to grow year after year, in a spirit of sharing and valuing local plant heritage.
