Rencontres et Racines: A Unique Intercultural Festival in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

Born in 1990 from the desire to bring together neighborhood associations and communities of Audincourt around a common cultural project, the Rencontres et Racines festival has become, in over thirty years, a major event on the music scene of the Grand Est and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.

An Associative Village at the Heart of Parc Japy

Beyond the concerts, Rencontres et Racines is above all an associative village bringing together more than 70 cultural and charitable associations on the Japy site in Audincourt. This village offers a true world tour of encounters and flavors: world cuisines, crafts, information stands, participatory workshops, and awareness-raising spaces.

An Eclectic and Engaged Musical Program

The Rencontres et Racines program mixes urban rhythms, reggae influences, powerful hip-hop, and daring fusions. The festival hosts internationally renowned artists alongside promising discoveries:
