The big popular festival of Drancy at Parc de Ladoucette
Every summer, the Fête de Drancy transforms the Parc de Ladoucette into a vast space for conviviality and sharing. Organized by the municipality in partnership with local associations, this popular festival has for many years brought together all the residents of Drancy around a generous program accessible to all generations.
With nearly 15,000 participants each year, the Fête de Drancy is one of the highlights of local life in Seine-Saint-Denis. It reflects the multicultural richness of the city and is a privileged moment of social cohesion, where neighbors, families, and associations come together in a relaxed and warm atmosphere.
The day is punctuated by stage shows featuring music, dance, and circus arts, with local and regional artists invited to perform before a large audience. Children enjoy activities specially designed for them: inflatable structures, traditional games, creative workshops, and face painting. Seniors are not forgotten, with dedicated spaces for leisure and social activities.
Drancy's sports associations take over the park to introduce their disciplines to the public. Football, pétanque, martial arts, dance, and many other activities are offered as demonstrations or free introductions. It's an opportunity for residents to join a club or simply try new activities in a festive atmosphere.
The food stalls reflect Drancy's cultural diversity: Caribbean, African, Asian, North African, and traditional French cuisine are found side-by-side under the park's trees. Local producers and artisans are also present to showcase their creations and products. This gastronomic and artisanal dimension is one of the most appreciated features of the festival.
Over the years, the Fête de Drancy has successfully renewed itself to offer new surprises at each edition. Original themes are regularly introduced: the city thus celebrated the Festival of Colors (Holi) for the first time, a nod to the Indian and international community present in Drancy. These additions enrich the program without losing sight of the event's essence: a free festival, open to all, rooted in the values of fraternity and living together that make the city proud.
The Drancy town hall mobilizes its services, partner associations, and numerous volunteers each year to ensure the quality of welcome and the safety of participants. Admission is free and open to all, in line with the event's popular and inclusive vocation.
The Fête de Drancy returns in 2026 to the Parc de Ladoucette for a new edition focused on conviviality and living together. The weekend of June 20 and 21 coincides with the Fête de la Musique, further enriching the program with concerts and musical activities in the castle gardens and public spaces of the city.
Stage shows, food stalls, activities for children and teenagers, sports demonstrations, and local crafts are all part of this free festival, open to everyone.
