Edition 2025 — Fête de l'Âne
The 27th Fête de l'Âne de Suarce was held on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 8 am to midnight. Donkey fair, gymkhana, parade of 100 artisans, flower parade, and concerts by Stéphane (French pop, Taratata) and the duo Madame Monsieur (Eurovision 2018) enlivened this festive and popular day.
27th edition — August 15, 2025
The 27th Fête de l'Âne de Suarce brought together several thousand visitors on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 8 am to midnight, in the streets and village hall of Suarce. Sun, good humor, and various activities made for another memorable day.
The donkey fair
From 8 am, donkeys were in the spotlight with the traditional trading fair, followed by the gymkhana from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, during which owners showcased the docility and abilities of their animals on the course.
The craft market
Nearly 100 artisans took over the village streets from the morning: potters, clog makers, basket weavers, blacksmiths, and many craftspeople demonstrated their skills in front of the public, in a market that was both authentic and friendly.
The concerts
The evening was marked by performances by Stéphane, a rising French pop artist who appeared on the show Taratata on France 2, and the duo Madame Monsieur, who represented France at Eurovision 2018 with the song Mercy.
