Edition 2025 — Fête de la Mer
The 2025 Fête de la Mer will be held on August 15th on the island of Molène. The program includes: blessing of the sea at noon on the dike, laying of a wreath at sea by the SNSM boats, musical aperitif, island specialty food, games, afternoon and evening concerts, and fireworks at dusk.
Fête de la Mer 2025 - August 15th
On Friday, August 15th, 2025, the island of Molène celebrates its traditional Fête de la Mer for the benefit of the SNSM. The day will begin at 12:00 PM with the blessing of the sea on the dike, followed by the laying of a wreath at sea by the rescue boats from Molène, Ouessant, and Le Conquet.
The musical aperitif at 12:45 PM on the port will launch the afternoon festivities: food with the famous Molène sausages, mussels and fries, and sandwiches, sale of SNSM merchandise, games, and a raffle. Concerts will liven up the afternoon and evening, with fireworks at dusk and music until 2 a.m.

Free entry. Food and activities are paid. Boat crossing: 10 euros (special fare).
