2023 edition of the Fête de la Moisson de Lançon. Peasant food and village conviviality. Free admission.
2023 Edition: Agricultural Heritage Celebrated
The 2023 edition of the Fête de la Moisson took place on August 5th and 6th in the village of Lançon. Volunteers from the association La Seconde Vie du Matériel staged the traditional harvesting gestures: scything, sheaf binding, threshing with a belt thresher powered by a vintage tractor, and plowing by Ardennes horses in the fields around the village.
Over a hundred restored agricultural machines were exhibited, some in working order, offering a striking panorama of the evolution of agricultural equipment from the early 20th century to the 1970s. The catering area offered grills and local specialties in a friendly and rustic atmosphere.
