Edition 2024 — Fête de la Musique au Puy
The 2024 edition of the Fête de la Musique in Le Puy-en-Velay was held on Friday, June 21st, with a rich and varied program. The historic center of Le Puy vibrated to the sound of rock, French chanson, tango, gospel, choirs, and country music. Place du Breuil hosted O'C'est Nous to open, followed by Gravity Fails, a rock-new wave-indie quartet from Le Puy-en-Velay, and the band Forever as headliners. The Cathedral resonated with the vocal ensembles Exagroove, Ars Musica, and the Maîtrise de la Cathédrale.

2024 Edition - Friday, June 21st
For the 2024 edition, the Fête de la Musique took over the entire historic center of Le Puy-en-Velay on Friday, June 21st. The City of Le Puy-en-Velay, in partnership with the Communauté d'Agglomération and the Conservatoire Les Ateliers des Arts, offered an eclectic program mixing rock, French chanson, pop-folk, tango, gospel, country, choirs, and variety music.
The main stage at Place du Breuil hosted the headliners with Gravity Fails, a rock-new wave-indie quartet from Le Puy-en-Velay, and the band Forever. Opening the show, the Parisian trio O'C'est Nous presented their pop-folk universe. On Place du Plot, artists Thierry Rothier & Cyrille Guy, the singing school, and the country band Welcome Santiag animated the afternoon and evening.
The Notre-Dame Cathedral offered an exceptional program with the ensembles Exagroove (gospel), Ars Musica, the Choeur Cathédrale-Collège, the Maîtrise de la Cathédrale du Puy, the Choeur du Centre de musique sacrée, and the Ensemble Sine Nomine. Place Cadelade hosted Tres Golpes (flamenco) and a milonga by Tango Volcanique du Velay, while Place Guy François echoed with the voices of the choirs Taulha'Quoi and A Coeur Joie.
