The Fête de Trévenans: Summer entertainment in a booming commune

Trévenans (90400) is a commune in the Belfort agglomeration that has seen significant development with the establishment of the New Nord Franche-Comté Hospital on its territory. This large hospital facility has transformed the commune into an important service hub in the south of the Territoire de Belfort, while retaining its residential and rural character.

A festival rooted in the local associative fabric

The annual municipal festival of Trévenans is driven by the festival committee and local associations. It embodies the spirit of solidarity and conviviality that characterizes the rural communes of the region. Each edition mobilizes several dozen volunteers to put together a complete program: entertainment for children in the afternoon, a refreshment stand, food, and an evening dance.

Traditional games play an important role in the program: pétanque tournaments, street games, races, and sports challenges allow participants of all ages to have fun together. The youngest ones have their own dedicated entertainment: inflatable games, face painting, and creative activities.

The Flâneries d'été: Trévenans at the forefront of the program

Each summer, Trévenans is among the first stops of the Flâneries d'été, the traveling festival of the Territoire de Belfort organized by the Departmental Council. These free shows—storytellers, musicians, street artists—complement the commune's summer festive offerings. In 2025, Trévenans opened the Flâneries season in July.
