Fête des Lumas 2024 — 50th edition
The 50th edition of the Fête des Lumas took place from May 18 to 20, 2024 (Pentecost weekend) in Uzay-le-Venon, marking half a century of celebrating the Berry snail. This anniversary edition brought together thousands of visitors who came to taste the famous herbed snails according to local tradition.
Saturday evening was inaugurated with a festive concert launching the festivities. On Sunday, a producers' and artisans' market with about thirty exhibitors took over the village, accompanied by traditional snail tastings. Pentecost Monday concluded the event with a large flea market through the village streets and the last opportunities to savor the "lumas".
