Edition 2025 — Fête du Cornet
The 21st edition of the Fête du Cornet de Murat was held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in the streets of the historic center of Murat. As every year, the festival brought together thousands of visitors for tastings of filled cornets, street performances, bands, concerts, and a large market of pastry products.
21st Fête du Cornet de Murat
For its 21st edition, the Fête du Cornet de Murat once again transformed the medieval town into the gourmet capital of the cornet on Sunday, September 21, 2025. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the streets and squares of the town center came alive to the rhythm of bands, street performances, and concerts.
Artisan bakers and pastry chefs prepared thousands of cornets filled with creams and mousses for the delight of visitors. About twenty stalls offered cornets, pastry products, and specialties from the Cantal region. A hundred artists paraded through the streets, offering entertainment and shows for all ages.
Face painting for children, carousels, special "cornet" menus in the town's restaurants, and torchlight tours by reservation completed the program for this festive and gourmet day.
