Edition 2025 — Fête du Livre du Var
The 28th edition of the Fête du Livre du Var took place on November 21, 22, and 23, 2025, at the Palais Neptune in Toulon, presided over by Aurélie Valognes. Among the guests of honor: Anne Berest, Mathias Malzieu, and Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt. Three days of encounters, book signings, "Grands Entretiens," and youth activities, all free, with the awarding of the Prix des Lecteurs du Var and the Prix Encre Marine.

28th Edition — November 21-23, 2025, Palais Neptune, Toulon
The 28th edition of the Fête du Livre du Var took place on November 21, 22, and 23, 2025, at the Palais Neptune in Toulon, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Entirely free, it brought together dozens of authors for three days of encounters and sharing around books.
Guest of Honor: Aurélie Valognes
Aurélie Valognes, one of the most widely read contemporary novelists in France, agreed to preside over this 28th edition. Her work, deeply rooted in everyday emotions and family ties, perfectly embodied the spirit of this Book Fair: popular, sincere, and universal.

- Mathias Malzieu — novelist and musician, author of La Mécanique du cœur
- Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt — one of the most translated and widely read French-language authors in the world
Tribute to Françoise Sagan
The 2025 edition paid tribute to Françoise Sagan, whose work and presence remain intimately linked to the French Riviera. Round tables, exhibitions, and readings celebrated this major figure of French literature.
Literary Awards 2025
The award ceremony took place during the edition, with the presentation of the Prix des Lecteurs du Var and the Prix Encre Marine.
Youth Activities
The program "Les collégiens varois et la Fête du Livre" allowed young readers to meet their favorite authors and participate in school juries, strengthening the link between school and culture.
