The return of the Fête du Panier
The Fête du Panier returned on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22, 2024 in the alleys of Marseille's historic district, after several years of interruption. This edition marked the relaunch of neighborhood festivals by the City of Marseille, with a particularly dense program over two days.
The festivities took over the Place du Refuge, Place de Lenche, Place des Pistoles, Place du Moulin, and every street in the district. The program included major concerts, DJ sets, street theater performances, exhibitions, choirs, dance demonstrations, and brass bands. For children, creative workshops, adapted concerts, and donkey rides were offered. A grand ball concluded the festivities.
