Fête du Sabot et des Vieux Métiers 2025

On the 3rd Sunday of July 2025, the medieval city of Lautrec hosted its Fête du Sabot et des Vieux Métiers. Passionate artisans, heritage lovers, and curious families gathered in the cobbled streets of this Most Beautiful Village of France for a day of discovery and sharing of ancestral know-how. Clog makers, blacksmiths, weavers, basket makers, and grinders recreated the gestures of yesteryear before an attentive and admiring audience. The emblematic windmill of Lautrec turned its sails under the July sky, revealing to visitors the secrets of traditional milling.
